Excursion to Latgale
Last weekend, students from our school went on a fascinating excursion to Latgale to rediscover the rich history and culture of this beautiful region.
During the trip, they got to know Latvia’s second largest city – Daugavpils, visited the fabulous Cesvaine Castle and learned a lot about military equipment at the Military Equipment Museum in Svente.
The trip ended on a very warm note with a visit to the orphanage “Priedīte”.
Our pupils had prepared small gifts – stationery, sweets, clothes and shoes. But the most valuable thing they gained was the cordial meeting and communication, which brought smiles, emotions and kindness.
Such moments inspire, bring people together and stay in their hearts for a long time.
