Students from Premjers Secondary School visit the Saeima!
On Friday, 26 September, our young people went to the Saeima Open Day, where they had the opportunity to:
- see the exhibition on the 35th anniversary of the restoration of Latvia’s independence;
- explore the Parliament’s facilities, from the Chamber to the sumptuous reception rooms;
- find out more about projects for young people – the Youth Saeima, the “Get to Know the Saeima” school programme and the “Mission: photographer” competition.
This was a great opportunity to see first-hand how the Saeima works and how decisions are made that affect us all.
